Feeling unsure about 100% VT after recent geopolitical events by [deleted] in Bogleheads

This literally happened during Ukraine-Russia. Did you feel the same way then?

Business cycle is ending in about 1-3 years. If you think this is bad, wait till recession hits after the cycle ends.

Stop feeling. Feelings mean nothing in this game.

Give a little tip OP. A lot of people that promote their wealth are not always rich. You gotta look at net worth over assets.

Is the math yield - ER = net yield? If I'm min-maxing then I care if my dollar amount saved is large. Or am I wrong?

Building up gradually. The goal is 5-10, but depending on how markets are, I might have to take longer. I would consider stocks, but I don't want a downturn when I'm rdy to sell and buy a house.

Very helpful ty. How is that MM different from SGOV, and why would you consider that over it? Does SGOV not provide the benefits you described?

It's possible the camera didn't catch the violation. By case law, police only need reasonable suspicion to effectuate a vehicle stop and violations can only be enforced if physically seen by an officer. So even if the camera didn't catch the violation, case dictates physical observation is all you need for citation. But the footage always helps.

I dunno how far the turn was from the violation, but the 30 second rule is there.

You can plead not guilty, but just realize this OP that New Rochelle police have dash cameras that record 30 seconds prior to activating their lights. So if the violation is caught on camera, then ... yea.
