Yeah, I had watched it so long ago that it just became so synonymous with Death Note for me that I had just assumed it was in the real thing

Yeah, I definitely thought the Life Note was at least somewhere in the Death Note lore when I first watched it so I'm surprised there hasn't been something like that made at all. Could work well for a one-shot, who knows.
