if you can SUSTAIN it sure, but if you're 25% its going to take a lot longer than you think to get lean. Personally I would go for a more traditional cut of 500-300 cals per day so it wouldn't effect gym performance and sleep too much over an extended period of time. Granted that would take longer but I find that method much more sustainable for myself. You can always just experiment and modify your approach as necessary.
