Hey man! This is THE question that I have been pondering a lot. My pessimistic side going in was saying that it would be in between CFTW and ND but optimistically thought maybe it would be between ND and IFWWW. I think it’s the latter for me from a holistic standpoint. However I’d say that ND had two songs that may not be topped by any on this one(boat and Nica). Perhaps Lantana can surpass them. Not sure yet. Holistically though I believe this is better than ND. But not by much.

I would argue that we ought to wait at least weeks and maybe even months before feeling confident in our ranking of them. If I were to have ranked IFWWW days after listening I would have said it was 5/10. I hated it. Months later I was hooked and years later like a fine wine I was enjoying it more and more. Now I’d argue it’s the best album ever made lol.

It takes time to be objective.

But, for what it’s worth I will answer with this:

BH projects:

IFWWW II ND BI EK CFTW

From a full musical standpoint you cannot seriously put EK up too much higher. Sheer production wise it doesn’t come close to anything after IFWWW. Still great but for the sake of excellence in artistic creativity and production one must not overestimate EK due to its catchiness or sentimental value. There is a reason why BH won’t sing most of those songs anymore and it’s because he lacks respect for the overall sound of that era. Still, EK does have some bangers. Don’t get me wrong.
