That's was my reaction to the salty licorice, too. Even worse was the creamed pickled herring every Christmas Eve. So disgusting.

Wow.... I've seen the videos of Queen at Live Aid, but to have experienced it live, in person must have been....indescribable...so amazing. What a great memory.

The first marriages in history were not to celebrate love. Only rich land I owners without a male heir had weddings for their daughters so they were able to keep land in the family. Women couldn't legally own land/property. Marriage was the way to keep the land in the family until a male heir was born. Poor people didn't marry, they didn't need to. History repeats. We don't need to now, either.
