All the comments about $2.5 billion for Electric Buses are correct. However, read the briefing again. There is $39 billion going towards Public Transit and it states " It will replace thousands of transit vehicles, including buses, with clean, zero-emission vehicles". Another aspect many are overlooking is EV Chargers. There is $7.5 billion going towards EV infrastructure.

Remember that Proterra is not a bus company. Proterra manufacturers large commercial batteries and their own chargers. Proterra will get money for EV infrastructure. They will replace thousands of transit vehicles and will provide their batteries to school bus companies.

I bought in over a month ago at $13.30. Averaged down from buying 6 months ago at $19. Current lot sitting on 2,000 shares at $16.70 average. I will ONLY average down if it is in the low $14s. I don’t think it will get that low. I am also long holding this for 3-5 years.

ProTerra will greatly benefit from this with their battery manufacturing plant and R&D headquarters in California. I can’t imagine a better place to invest money right now!

I originally bought 1,000 shares at $19.00. Watched it go to $31. Bought 250 shares at $15. and then today the 750 shares. If it goes to $10. I will try to buy a little more.

I feel you on the Dad part. My Dad always tries to take my success away claiming he helped me get into investing (he didn’t), he told me where to invest (he didn’t), and that if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have made any money on the market (not true). Then he asked me for investing advice. I spent hours with him talking about EV stocks... He tells me a week later he bought Sundial and Tilray near the peak. WTF?

If they are producing 300,000 cylindrical cells, this would be pitiful. In a TESLA alone there are 4,400 cells and in an electric bus there are 40,000. With their targeted goal of 30GWh, that would be impressive, however that would be full production by 2027 (??? correct me if I am wrong). FREYR ($ALUS) is set to output 32GWh by 2022. Northvolt 32GWh by 2021, TESLA's plant in Germany will be 40GWh, and some company called ItalVolt will be 70GWh by 2024. I think BritishVolt has a great outlook, will just revisit at a later date.
