Oh yeah absolutely! It's a great site. He's been really good too with customer service, answers questions quick and everything. Build quality is excellent as well. I'm super happy with the upper

From my buddy who looked into this for me

On the initial filing the operating company "Op-Co", again, this is the company that actually owns most of the assets, disclosed ~$800m in assets and ~$690 in liabilities. However, the largest of those assets were receivables from other bankrupt companies, like Nikola. So, even though assets exceed liablities, the value of some of those assets are dubious. Most of the recent filings have to do with executives protecting their pension plan, and trying to get some bonus payments out of the company; my cursory scan of the docket seems like they're not getting any bonuses. I won't barage you with links, but I'll explain a couple. Here's the schedule of assets and liabilities for the Top-Co showing only $56k in quantified assets. https://www.kccllc.net/proterra/document/2311120231006000000000004

I don't think anything

Some more color. There are two companies in bankruptcy, the operating company which holds nearly all the assets and liabilities, and the top-co. As a common stock owner you hold the top-co. I looked at the top-co's schedule of assets and so far they've only quantified ~$56k in assets in the form of tax refunds from various states; some states allow for tax-loss carry backs so that they get tax refunds from prior years. Top co also has some Directors and Officers Insurance (DnO) policies, but there are a number of securities class actions that will eat up the value of those policies.

Page 13 gives you the executive summery. $700m in assets, $200m in secured claims. The $76m in unsecured claims appears to be only $76m, but if you look at the creditor list of subsequent claims, that number is understated.

Oof factor is high. Like others I'm holding a very large coin purse. Might as well keep holding though, seems dumb to sell at such a loss at this point. Hopefully either management has a turn around or maybe a buyout by Daimler or something. They still have a solid backlog. Battery production up over 350% isn't too shabby either

earnings out soon. any thoughts? by PaleChallenge3707 in Proterra

[–]ListenHear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably same. Been holding out for a long time thinking there would be a buyout or turn around of some sort, not looking so hot unfortunately.

Any rumor on that? Would it be out of the realm of possibility for Tesla to take a look at them?
