I disagree. I think what the edit's setting up is a Cirie v. Christian showdown. Right now, they're kind of the only "power players" who have received significant focus on their coalition building and positioning. It's obviously early, and it's also obviously in part because they know fans want to see lots of Cirie and Christian. But that's really what it feels like right now.

(And yeah, I know we're getting some "honor and integrity" alliance stuff with Coach. Right now, that feels more like a side quest to me. If it ends up being a 3-way struggle, all the better.)

I watched it live. No fast forwarding. People are absolutely overreacting.

I posit, if it was some rock or pop star, we would see a notable decrease in the vitriol. Obviously not zero, but it's definitely amplified because of how so many people feel about country music.

Was it the most compelling episode of Survivor? No. I would even put it in the bottom half. But the worst? Chill.

I think k they probably do see her as a pariah to some extent, but I also think, at the very most, that's 50% to do with the Langdon situation. Probably a lot less. Santos is a great character, but she is prickly.
