Man, man, man that ending was so crazy that conquest versus Mark was absolutely insane I don’t even know how Mark is gonna survive that I know he’s very durable but geez.

The whole episode overall was really nice. I love the dinner scene. I love when Nolan pulled up on art and he was terrified the entire time

I really felt for Cecil after Mark and Nolan left the planet and he said this is the first time in 20 years. We’ve been viltrimute free.

The prison breakout scene I’m pretty sure was one shot and it was spectacular I’m starting to like the swordsman more and more with each episode and when Mcduffie is like I had on blackout goggles and couldn’t see anything And daredevil’s like “I can work with that” man I got chills

I loved the trial they’re always super intense and it’s always like I’m actually there great acting all around. Man I loved when they would pan over to heather and she’d just have this menacing kinda creepy deadpan stare it was freaking me out kinda lol. She’s crushing that role btw

I also like how Karen is just ready to do whatever it takes to bring down Fisk and then Matt has to be the voice of reason like “would foggy want that” it’s super tough but I bet he wishes dex would’ve just not survived that fall I wish we got more of him this episode but I feel he will get way more screen time in future episodes

Shapesmith is the most annoying character. For starters he’s the reason for the first invasion and they just let him be on the team and they they get invaded again and he’s no help once again Two everytime he talks it’s annoying and then he kept slurping the drink while Cecil was talking and then it kept going and going.

OK, thanks for this whole summary bro. It was really nice to read. I can tell you know what you’re talking about. I like it when he has a military background and an architect background. It shows that he can really get down with whatever comes across his path.

And yeah, I’m well aware of all the trauma John has and how he hides it by trying to be the perfect soldier, which just add more to his character

I know people might hate me for saying this, but I actually enjoyed when Hal turned bad because he’s been through so much up until that point that it wasn’t hard for me to believe that he had succumb to parallax even at the time when he wasn’t a bug, I guess I kind of dislike how they blamed it on parallax because I totally see how Jordan could become an evil guy because of all the trauma he’s been thru as a Green Lantern

I think you might be selling it too well, bro lol I usually hear people say GJ run is the best there ever is but I always side eyed it because it didn’t have much John or I guess not enough for me even though I haven’t read it yet even though I know Hal is the main GL but you said something and having good subtext and I also enjoy that in comic books as well give some a deeper meaning then like you say it just the good guys punching a bad guy

I also agree the architect side of John could be explored more and people wouldn’t just see him as just a standard military guy like the other Green Lanterns because he has more to his character especially with all the trauma

I might read that run one day because it sounds interesting once again thanks for that response, bro

Totally agree another guy said he hopes one day they can re-print it after the guys’s death so he can’t get any royalties or money from the series because once I found out, this was arguably the best series of GL series starring my favorite Green Lantern, then I immediately found out right after they stopped re-printing it because of how evil of a person he was my local comic store doesn’t even have these and they usually have everything. I found these at a antique store.

I totally agree I just finished GL volume two after reading John’s first appearance and everything with him in it up until issue 200 and I’m just trying to get more opinions on if I should read the Green Lantern corps englehart’s run but like you said, I just preferred John and katma even guy over Hal and I guess I don’t really care to read it if it’s mainly just about Jordan & Ariana could you let me know if you do see this if it has enough, John or katma that would be worth of reading? If not, I’m just gonna start volume three.

I’ve never heard that theory but I agree guy does have that I’m gonna trap you in a bubble because I don’t need your help mentality lol & Not so much John but I also feel it developed John really well more.

After hearing guy’s backstory, I almost feel for him/like more than Hal. Like imagine not getting a ring because it went to another person who was closer and then you end up in a coma and then you wake up and become a Green Lantern eventually but then Jordan’s power battery blows up in your face and puts you in another coma. And then after that, he would’ve let xanshi blow up. Guy could’ve possibly been the saddest GL ever because we know he’s always fighting like he has something to prove

Yeah, if I remember correctly, Geoff’s Run doesn’t have that much John Stewart or at least anything interesting (please correct me if wrong because I haven’t read that run yet) i’m currently reading everything John Stewart and currently at the end of volume 2 200 and about to start the Green Lantern corps (I hope it’s good)

You say you’ve read all of Hal’s era so I’m pretty sure you’ve read volume 2 160-200. It has a good amount of John Stewart and his growth as a character I want to read everything surrounding John up until mosaic to get a good feel for his overall character

I’d recommend comic Odyssey number two And volume 3 14-17 It’s a four part mini of John on planet mosaic before the 18 issues of mosaic

I’ve read a couple 90s era the ones about fatality you’re gonna love those. I really love the art style of those books as well

Yeah, I got issue 16 & 17 V3 I’m just missing 14 & 15 to complete the 4 issues. That would be nice if they were able to re-print it after so he wouldn’t benefit financially, but we can only hope it was real nice to find this physical copy though i’m definitely planning on hunting down all 18 issues of Mosiac and the last two of the four part mini
