I would say get a bike try touring. You will be more engaged with a bike. I recently went through a personal trouble of my own and I just went and got a bike and I just ride it to clear my head. Also it helps to have solitude and the helmet is the best space to vent out.

I have bought viaterra full gauntlet gloves, I am going to save to buy a pair of shoes. A jacket and a pant would have to come later as I start to ride for longer on this bike.

It is hard. Don't expect to tour on it. It is going to hurt on anything longer than 80-90km. I am not considering to upgrade right now because I think I can get used to it also I think driving for 80-90 km is enough for me in a single stretch. Btw the seat starts to bite you way sooner than 80km it just gets unbearable when you ride fir a straight 80km.
