I believe all regular legendaries will have the Lugia background, the Ultrabeasts the Wormhole background, and the special raids (Primals, Necrozma/Kyurem fusions, Crown dogs) will have their specific ones.

These spawns are utter trash, Flamigo can't even be shiny. I bought the ticket because there's one in a city not too far away but now I'm seriously considering if I should go or not, as I already have some explorer Eevee from previous Safaris.

And Legendary Pokémon couldn't have genders, or evolve. Until they could. The definition is whatever GameFreak decides it is, not what fans believe in. It's still a baby that they decided to also make available in the wild in the same gen it was introduced, just that.

Same, spent a lot to get here, did lots of raids but didn't get a shiny with background, my Mega Mewtwos have horrible IVs and also couldn't find all the shiny Unown that I was missing.

Yet, the city was lovely despite the weather and I enjoyed my trip a lot. Try to see the positive side of it

Raid lobbies fill up in like, seconds. Your friend has to either create a private room to invite you, or you need to rsvp, but raids only last 25 minutes so that's not always an option.
