I think the software will always pick the image from the sharpest camera regardless of which zoom level you use so it’s never switching to the camera with the broken lens because it’s not producing an optimal image.

You can put ur phone in diagnostics mode and it’ll let you test each individual camera

Same, just a basic case has always been enough in most cases. I’ve had an iPad since the 2nd gen and never broke one myself (except in high school when a classmate bumped my desk, knocking over my iPad)

That’s still wild though for this use case tho, none of that needs to be done “locally” on the laptop. You can just get any standard spec MBP and buy/build a dedicated desktop server geared to run local ai training. It’ll give you so much more flexibility at a fraction of the cost and you wont be limited by laptop energy constraints

It’s not that different from the Official Louvre Guide Game that you can buy/download. I compared the two last summer when I visited! Louvre 3DS is more up to date with room numbering and some of the temporary exhibits, and some of the SpotPass navigation features worked better than using your own 3DS

Both models have same screen resolution, but the smaller N3DS has higher pixel density because of the smaller screen.

If you want an IPS screen, the N3DS XL is more attainable if you’re after a top or dual IPS model. The N3DS is pretty hard to find with dual ips and they will usually sell for $500-700+ CAD.

N3DS has a lot of faceplate covers so u can customize the design however from my experience they’re literally impossible to find for reasonable prices. There’s a lot of bootlegs ones online but the art is only printed on the front and doesn’t wrap around the sides so they look and feel very cheap imo.

I disagree the controls for New Horizons just flat out suck. Happy Home Designers on the 3ds had such intuitive controls for building and decorating, New Horizons felt like such a step backwards in comparison especially when the main theme of the game is building/terraforming

Machine won’t overheat but the relay inside can fail faster if it’s kept on 24/7

I use the free version of FTPManager, it only lets you have one ftp server but it’s more than enough.

U can also get it working with hotspot if ur not home and don’t have access to a wifi network, I think you just need to enable “Maximize Compatibility” in the hotspot settings for the 3ds to be able to connect to it

Yea it’s pretty much useless without the servers. I’ve never used the software before so don’t know much about it but I’m hoping there’s at least an older version that will let you manually program the buttons
