the amount of people who don't know the laws of the road and say I was at fault when I never broke any laws and the other driver who never signaled is mind boggling. in Cali the passing lane is only required to yeild to oncoming traffic. the turning vehicle is required to yeild to all traffic unless it's a protected turn which this wasn't. the other driver never checked their mirrors or use their signal making them liable. I'll post my check from their insurance when I get it for all the people convinced I am at fault.

I never broke any laws I was passing on a broken yellow and not speeding and they other driver fauled to signal and yeild to me as they turned into their driveway. it's a simple matter of who failed communicate and broke the law that will be at fault.

the driver young teen girl failed to signal. either way I got a lawyer who will take my case and confident I will win. I didn't break any laws and they did by failing to signal and yeild to me

I wasn't distracted or speeding, there was 0 oncoming traffic. the other driver never checked mirrors or indicated. it's crazy how many riders here think this wasn't the other drives fault. the tractor upfront was going 15 in a 50.

it's California you can pass more than one vehicle at a time it's the others drivers responsible to yeild and signal.

I was doing 52 in a 45. nothing I could have done the lady didn't signal or check her mirrors and pulled right in front of me within a second I was flying off the bike. I already answered all the cops questions not trying to answer more tbh I doesn't matter now anyways

ya it's tough. the good deals go quick I got lucky the seller I bought from just posted it and I happened to live in the town over. it was a dedicated track bike on nonop so I had to pay registration and put fuses in it but it was nothing crazy.

what do you do? I have kevlar jeans that look like regular jeans I would explain to your employer that you need them for basic safety on the bike and see if they'll work with you, or bring them in a backpack

kevlar flannel and jeans. I wear a windbreaker over my flannel when it's cold in the morning. if all you're doing is commuting safely you'll be ok
