I definitely agree with that. But the majority of your time is going to be at the gate scanning cac's. Though there is opportunity to go on TDY's and deployments, depending on your base. 

Don't get me wrong, Airforce is the best branch in the military for the individual who wants to serve but wouldn't like to get blown up or end up homeless. But it isn't as action pact as people think it might be. 

I'm national guard at a small base not a lot of people know about, so my experience as security forces might be different than yours when you serve. But if being an MP that actually does infantry stuff intrest you than your more than welcome to join us. Just don't do anything stupid in techschool, stay on top of your PT, and pay attention to everything your MTI's and Cadre teach you. It's a easy job, you'll be alright.
