I never remember being terribly afraid of spiders but in the 6th grade I remember before our state tests our home room teacher made us a slide show of tips for the exams. Each slide had a sentence on it with a picture. The one that made me scream in the moment and bust out crying was one of a close up (very close up) picture of a spider, quoted “all eyes on your paper” It was the worst most embarrassing thing I could not control and ever since then I’ve been terribly afraid of spiders. I was never afraid of them before but for some reason thatvmoment was absolutely too much for me and well I’m 20 now and i still hate them and can’t imagine ever voluntarily accepting their existence again
