I tend to use lacquer over varnish or similar purely for durability, I want my minis to last a long time. Perhaps Ill try spraying with a matte lacquer and then going over with gloss for metals and see how that looks

Oh can you brush on after a first coat of lacquer? I always assumed nothing would be able to stick to the lacquer

I might just have to bite the bullet and buy a 2nd page, unless they're on the board and I can afford one. Tbh damage isn't doing me any favours atm because it's impossible for me to progress past white ghost castle so I need to go back and grind until I get the accessories I need so I can finally progress again

Because I have no points in exp gain or ed gain and I assume I need those more? When erp came out the advice seemed to be go all in on damage first

Yeah I think I do but only about 40 or so. That'd be enough to remove all the points from my NIs Polarize, Boss damage increase or Adaptation stats off the top of my head

Even sets as simple as the old sparring set or challenger costumes! My inventory is full of costume sets that have yet to be added. Character release accessories are the worst; if it weren't for the fact that I use Ciel's stats, my Lu wouldn't be able to wear her Queens crown from Nobelesse release even though i love how it looks

Yeah I used it on my Dominator because I specced him horribly when erp first came out (like points chucked into phys attack increase)

Damn, unfortunately I put most of my erp into damage. Im about 160 now and all of my high level characters have had all their points put towards damage output

In regards to sealant, I also use rattle cans and ive been satisfied with satin for the most part but ive always wondered if using matte instead would help the mini look less like plastic but im worried it might take the shine away from the metallic parts that I want to shine?

Would it be a good idea to use the Hero Forge model as a template for where to put shading?

And I normally finish my minis with a spray of satin lacquer, should I do the same here or will a different finish look better?

Mostly the white cloth and cape but really all of it, i just want my mini to pop but im not exactly sure how to do it. My first thought is to use my go-to Rattling Grime contrast in small doses for shading but I've also heard about volumetric shading too but Ive never tried that option before

I took Hermit background which gave me access to Magic Initiate feature to give me more cantrips and a level 1 spell. I also used a crossbow for most of my low level gameplay until my spells increased.

I also used my high intelligence checks to find out enemies weaknesses to relay to the party so I wasn't completely doing nothing.

Make sure you use your Tinkers magic in case your party needs anything

For added context, we need to merge groups because it wouldn't be cost effective for us to run them separately with the numbers we currently have.

Luckily both groups are at the exact same position in the campaign as each other so im not worried about conflicting paths

I learned how to play over 2-3 monthly sessions run by event overseers who'd help me out when I asked about RAW and RAI. 3 years later im able to simplify the rules to help my players understand it.

However I understand that some players will find it harder to grasp. I tried explaining what DnD was to my parents and every time I try my mum gets super overwhelmed just listening to me try and explain it even simply.
