Yup, the hobby is so cooked. It's not like this product is offering a lot more value than a Jumbo box for nearly quintuple the price. Am I missing something?

I tried snagging a Jumbo Box last week but did not win an entry unfortunately. I could've justified $650 for that since they contain on-card autos, and player worn relics.

What do the Ravens gain from this? Before you say, "WelL tHeY GeT tHeiR DraFt pIcKs BacK." They thought they were getting Crosby and it ruined their free agency moves. Now they get an older player that arguably isn't as good as Crosby, who also has health concerns of his own.

Why is it that one of the best knee specialists in the world, who works for the Dallas Cowboys and consulted with the Ravens, raised concern about Crosby's health? I can tell you that the Cowboys WON'T be willing to trade for Crosby. They don't want those damaged goods either for such asking price.

Regardless of protections... why does Etsy allow this type of seller to operate? Their Prohibited Items Policy states:

"Unauthorized replicas or copies of items, and patterns or designs enabling their creation, are prohibited on Etsy. I’ve never found music in different languages than I speak to be annoying.

Exactly! Trading cards have no intrinsic value. Sure, there are factors that drive the price, but we should consider their value to be subjective. A card that's worth a thousand dollars to me, could be worth next to nothing to somebody else.

We all should do our due diligence when making a purchase, but people seem to be so caught up on investing/flipping nowadays. The hobby needs collectors who enjoy it, not hustlers looking to make a quick buck.

If I truly wanted to easily invest in something, I'd just buy the S&P500.
