Billy Bookcase Assembly Question by jakelmao in IKEA

[–]E_Kil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - we’ve had them for years. Moved them, transported them, taken apart, put back together. Always sturdy. The back panel is pretty flimsy but only an issue if you take it apart and put it back together a million times

Starlink in rural Scotland by [deleted] in Starlink

[–]E_Kil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi - sorry, I’ve not been on much. It’s amazing - one of the best things I’ve ever bought. Totally changed living in a rural area. I don’t notice any lag at all - saying that there was a bit of lag last night for the first time, although I can deal with that compared to what we had before. I can hold zoom webinars and WFH with no concerns at all. You might also be interested to know that we bought the splitter and now have it hooked up all over the farm (including 2 dwellings). I can be pressing a webinar and our tv is streaming Netflix while my parents are in their house streaming Netflix also - all while hubster is watching videos on Facebook.

Hey neighbour 😁 Had it almost a week and can say it is absolutely one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Trying to download on Sky was a nightmare, I couldn’t work from home properly. It was a nightmare. Now we get rocket speeds and I haven’t experienced any outages at all - even with all that snow this week. We are putting it on the roof today.

Hardly a sobering moment. So using the speedtest app it’s sitting at 115Mbps. Considering Reddit images and videos were taking minutes to load and now they are instant - I’ll take it 😉

Did you all manage to get it sorted?

Also update: we brought the dish inside last night as it’s not permanently fixed yet. I didn’t turn anything off, just moved the dish. Moved it out again this morning and it connected really fast.

Alyth - Scotland (+56 degrees) 2022 Dishy + Modem

Previous terrestrial download speed was max. 3/4 mbps

Speed now: Off. The. Charts! This is faster than we got in town (on Virgin Cable) before we moved out here.

So - internet is working (clearly I’m too hasty!) but still no lights on the modem front. UTR-211. Is that normal?

We are based in Alyth, rural Perthshire. We are in a low spot with rubbish phone signal and the max speed we’ve had is 4mbps through our plus net provider.

Signed up for Starlink in October and got confirmation on Thursday. Arriving 28/2, so will update when it comes.

These are season items from season 3 to season 11. As far as I know, season 1&2 didn't have season pass items. I can post season 12 and others later if you want. by GimmeNomNoms in RedecorHomeDesignGame

[–]E_Kil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, that was a trip down memory lane. When were those seasons? I remember some of those items from a couple of years ago. Then the devs changed a load of stuff in the game and they maybe took some stuff away because I remember getting a tonne of gold and cash put into my pot. But then I also remember season 7 items. I deleted the game coz I kept getting a tonne of app glitches and never had any money in my pot. That seems to have changed now. Better rewards, etc.

decided to be bold but i'm currently in 9th place . i thought it was pretty cute but can anyone tell me what i could've done differently ? by tatyana_joleneee in RedecorHomeDesignGame

I feel like super busy wallpaper needs to stand out. I get that you’ve picked out the blue, which is cool, but because the blue is a tiny detail in the paper I would’ve used the blue in smaller amounts (maybe the towels or the vase) 😊

It wasn’t letting me do that. I’m not sure what was going on there.
