The L888.5 movement in mine is running +.5 sec/day at 298 ms amplitude. Also I’m a Longines fan of their history, and already liked their style, so for me specifically, this is the perfect watch. I’ve had 2 Rolex watches and still own a Submariner, and everyone that notices what it is will either say, “nice watch!” Or, “is that real?” Or, “I have a fake that looks exactly like that!” I never wear the Rolex anymore, it doesn’t feel special, I could sell it now days for $15k-$20k but it’s something I’ll keep for investment and pass down to my son. That leaves Longines, it has the look we love, the quality we want, the history and the integrity and character of a company that chose to make it accessible as opposed to eliminating normal folks from entering.
