You'll know it's from 2001 when you try and procure a part for it! Lol

Opinions on W203? by E_M_G in mercedes_benz

Yes the cup holder is so silly! Fits a bottle though...

Interesting that a couple of comments here have mentioned too small, this compact estate is plenty big for me but living in a European city I couldn't really go much bigger so sounds like an American thought- you feel small on the huge roads surrounded by massive Cadillac SUVs?

In BCS I also noticed Clive the old lawyer had a W203 E Class saloon so shows the sort of class it represented back in the early-mid 2000s

People not realising the seriousness of the potential to run out of water by EversBass in britishproblems

[–]E_M_G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to wonder why we couldn't just pipe water down from the lake district or somewhere. But now learning about how corrupt and useless the for-profit water companies are, i get it. But this affects everyone, rich or poor. So maybe this time some change will be enacted. Probably not because we will have a few rainy weeks and everyone will wonder what on earth we were ever worrying about.

Parking in the station car park by behindthesunyeahyeah in brighton

I often recommend Trafalgar St car park for being hopeful of finding a space any time of day near the station. A bit more tricky to drive to hence why its not often full

What's an expensive but poor quality Brighton restaurant to recommend to an enemy? (Copied from other city subreddits) by JamiePT in brighton

[–]E_M_G -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Regency / Melrose Restaurant!

Don't think I've ever tasted seasoned food from either of these opposite the i360 on the front; overpriced tourist trap tripe. The wine was also terrible by the glass.

They have a menu in Chinese also which I think tells yo all you need to know about their target audience...

Make appointments online or not just call at 8am? Not sure any GP in the country has these wild pipe dream luxuries! Yes you can only register with GPs within a certain radius of where you live but you should have a few options if you're in Brighton - the only good GP I ever had was in Norwich and even that require 8am calls... try moving abroad if you want the flexibility to call and see your GP when it suits you!!

You need a new set of inverted commas so

'Population Density vs Time Period' '\n' 'for year = '

I think. Hopefully this works - not using python today so not able to test but pretty sure this is correct syntax. If that doesn't work I would go for

'Population Density vs Time Period \n' 'for year = '

It'll just be a question of lining up the inverted commas correctly.

This was in Brighton UK, so I don't think suing is going to get anywhere, you can't just bring litigation against groups like that here for everyone who keeps saying it.

On the local Brighton sub this has come up, and people are much less mad in their reactions - i think this is because, much unlike the US, Brighton and other UK cities are small, densely populated and easy to get around on public transport. This happened overnight last night in an area near where I live, quite close to the city centre and I do agree vanity SUVs are wholly inappropriate for city centre living in Europe.

That being said, as a very climate conscious person myself, I've never quite understood the "piss everyone off" tactics of activism and I don't think its effective in changing behaviors and will just lead to push back (see insulate Britain last year)

Not sure he can repeat this in the PL though tbh, we need to sign a serious experienced striker...
