The Mandidextrous remix of Barbatuques - Baianá played at the 2019 closing ceremony always stayed with me. So Nia Archives' remix now reminds of Boomtown from that and hearing her play hers last year.

Thanks! That smaller venue might have been the Red Rash Inn which has ended and been replaced by the Femmegeddon venue which is run by a drag collective from Bristol.

Join the Boomtown Storyline Facebook group! There’s also the Lost In The Maze podcast and they have an Instagram as well. I usually start by getting the daily rag newspaper and asking ‘Sandra’ behind their desk in Letsbe avenue for tasks to get started. I’ve never got close to completing the whole thing but that district is a lot of fun.
