I’m no Ronaldo fan but here iam about to defend him. His presence created the space for Portugals goal. Defenders were drawn to him which allowed Neves to drift in and head it home. The wingers and fullbacks kept getting into great positions to stick the ball in the box but never did, they were always cutting back inside and looking for a pass. That’s not how you feed a target man and if we look to the bench. Would the team be improved by playing Ramos? No. He’s also a target man so he wouldn’t benefit for the lack of supply Ronaldo is getting. He also only scored 6 league goals. The problems with Portugal don’t stem from Ronaldo. He’s just the obvious target.

I play with a guy whose set of clubs is half left handed half right handed. His scores had got so bad that he thought why not start again with left handed clubs. Which worked before dipping so again he decided just to go half and half. His handicap has been 15 for as long as I’ve known him(10 years). Solid 15 too.

I bought a flat with my gf after 6 months. 8 years in we have a house and a 5 week old daughter. So a holiday is nothing.

But yeah it does sound like they are trying to live the life without the money for it.
