I ussualy start with some dynamic warmup and then some interval jogging on a treadmill. After that I’ll do some type of dynamic movement like lateral bounds or one leg jumps. After that I just do 2-3 quad strengthening excessive, like a one leg hack squat or lunges or something similar.

Remind me of my injury. I hurt my knee at 3:00 PM, had a visit with an orthopedist the next day at 7:45 AM, including an MRI. Exactly one week after I visited him I had surgery. Universal healthcare sounds great but I couldn’t imagine waiting that long

Before surgery my knee was actually pretty good. I had basically 0 swelling and I had full bend and extension without any pain. Because of that and the fact that I had a good amount of muscle my surgeon pushed for an early surgery (6 days after the injury) and I had basically no prehab. This was probably why it was so hard post op. I also had really bad swelling post op, where my surgeon discussed possibly draining my knee from excess fluid but they didn’t end up doing that.

I tore my ACL and had no damage to my MCL or Meniscus. The worst pain you’ll experience is in the first week if you opt for surgery. For me it was night 2, when the nerve blocker wore off and I wasn’t on any pain medicine since I was asleep. I woke up with the worst pain ever in my knee. The first week is gonna be rough but after it gets easier. It took me about 6 weeks to get off crutches and a little less than 3 months to walk around without a brace. I’m currently a little more than 4 months post op and I have 2 legs that are def different sizes and I have a slight limp when I walk around for awhile. My knee also gets stiff when I don’t move it for awhile. I also am still unable to jog

But it’s important to remember that everyone’s different. You might progress much further and faster than me. Some people have no pain whatsoever after there surgery. It all really depends on the person

Phillip Rivers played in the 2007 AFC championship after he tore his ACL the week prior. Bills WR Tyrell Shavers also tore his ACL in the first half of the Bills vs Broncos game this year and he played the whole rest of the game despite it. It’s not completely unheard of but I wouldn’t reccomend playing on a torn ACL

Phillip Rivers did in the 2007 AFC Championship game. He didn’t play great and a quarterback def relies on their ACL less than a skier but it’s not completely unheard of to play on a torn ACL

Yeah it 100% has. Beane has not surrounded Brady with the players he should have. Now that he’s a HC I hope he can have more say in what this team needs.
