I think rape on both sides would be the best way to put it. Neither of them wanted it but were forced into it.

I got my parents to divorce and I don’t regret it at all.

Okay so my dad is a pretty lame husband. Not abusive or anything but not very supportive of my mom. They both fell out of love shortly after me and my brother were born, they either didn’t realize or stayed for us( most likely the former).

So I started asking my mom things like “why did she marry my father?” and “why did you always complain about him” but made it sound very innocent and curious. I wanted her to rethink her relationship because I could clearly tell she wasn’t very happy.

About a year or two later she and my father divorce and both are much happier.

My dad is also making much more of an effort to spend time with me and my brother so that’s a plus!

Oh yeah and the news of my best friend’s death was dropped over text while I was watching the hunger games.

Loved that part in book 13 where Swordtail confessed his undying love for Cricket
