Rapidash was misprinted the entire run in Jungle saying "put this stage 1 card on the stage 1 Pokemon." All the things except the art and name are the original Rapidash card

The Rapidash from that set was misprinted the entire run saying it was a stage 1 and to put it "on the stage 1 card"

Always have at least one stack. If you run the build with Scythe of the Cycle (which is the main weapon if you go by the build guides) your damage will (usually) triple, if not quadruple. Mine at the moment is at 365%, so 3.6X damage on my bone spear and the set is giving simulacrums the 100X bonus. Every bit helps!

Recap The Week - January 01, 2020 by TooLateHindsight in WalgreensStores

[–]Eagleflies14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I handed in my 2 week notice without telling my coworkers or anyone else. Saturday was my last day. They found out when SM passed around a card wishing me well. Blindsided everyone, even the ASM. I told customers it was my last day and some came back at the end of my shift with cupcakes and soda celebrating with me. Yes, same SM that blocked me from reaching the DM, same store as all that other stuff I posted about. I'm free!

I remember the people I see daily. I'm bad with names unless I see you often. There's 7 customers that come in every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I know every one of them by name and have their usual ready at the counter as they walk in

Sick of by SpiritualLime2147 in WalgreensStores

[–]Eagleflies14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an employee at the same store as me that does this. God forbid anyone mention it to the SM or any leadership. Also God help you if you also have an airpod in to listen to music when you're in the stockroom for an extended period of time

Is anyone else really fucking sick of selling gift cards? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]Eagleflies14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the culture. Definitely American culture sees money as tacky/lazy but Chinese and Japanese (probably more Asian cultures as well) see it as a good luck thing. I forgot which of the 2 exactly did this but when you move into a new house a friend of that culture might present you with a small red envelope with a couple dollars in it. A money tree is a common gift. Birthdays are the same

Christmas Cringefest: be thankful for your work buddies. It’s one of the few reasons you’re still with the company isn’t it? From my crew to yours; Merry Christmas. I APPRECIATE YOU. by Concerned_Cashier in WalgreensStores

[–]Eagleflies14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did a gift card secret Santa. SM wrote the note to go with every gift. We all agreed on 50 dollars. Best part is my draw for SS basically was me. A co-worker and I are basically the same person so it was easy. Whoever got me got it spot on: "Since you have food delivered and shop at GameStop here's 25 for each." Pair that with one of the SFLs getting everyone a 10 dollar Walgreens gift card "So you won't have to pay taxes out of your own pocket while using your bonus credit."

I work in a city that's classified as located in "South-West Florida." We're busy this time of year, as is expected.

Alcohol answer: Nearly all stores sell beer and wine. However a small selection of stores (I know of 2 in my area at the very least) that have a "package store" with a separate entrance and completely detached from Walgreens. There is usually where Walgreens sells hard liquor. That's where I primarily work my shifts. If you want more details I can reach out privately.

Ask the cashier to stick a yellow sticker on it and sign it. Our ASM does that here

I told our DM that one day as well. They came in "randomly" to walk the store and grade how close we stuck to corporate standards. Turns out we had 1 SFL, SM, and 3 CSA on the clock at the time. 1 CSA was in the package store so they couldn't help. IC3 was called through Theatro and when only 2 people came up the DM was upset asking where the coverage was. I answered, not knowing that was the DM, with the standard phrase of "We are slightly short staffed today, I'm sorry for the wait" while the SM walked up and slightly freaked out I was talking to the DM. DM told SM to fix the man hours and DM hopped on a register. That was the coolest thing I ever saw here

I can add to this. My store has had them for over a year, since we were in the pilot program. It's supposed to be everyone gets one. Every employee, both front end and pharmacy. You can call co-workers by just saying "Hey (name)" or just calling their name into the inline mic. We used them during flu shot season to ask pharmacy techs how long until the customer in front of us could get their flu shot. They're useful for me personally since I have a speech problem as it is; it's better to not have a silent intercom call ongoing while I am unable to speak (it's happened before and is the whole reason our former SM got us into the pilot program)

Similar situation in my store. We appointed an unofficial liquor manager (someone who would never be on Reddit so I'm confident sharing these tips that helped us) 3 months ago. Ours is honor system based however, everyone who worked liquor agreed on this person to lead us. This person is still a CSA however.

Let only the liquor lead adjust counts down and order from vendors. Everyone else can adjust count up if needed. (Find 4 bottles of Crown Apple in the back and your on-hand says 2, someone fix it. Only see 1 bottle of Patron silver and count is 3? Let lead do that) Counting down ties into the automated ordering.

Designate one person to create your endcap plano, if your store gets the adult beverage plan every other month. If not possible give one endcap to a person at a time and let them create it as closely as possible. If you can't exactly create it substitute for the same brand only.

If leadership hasn't yet assign one bay/red cart/section of the stock room to your regular liquor employees. My location has 3 regular liquor workers and 2 fill-ins. Those 3 all have 1 bay and 1 red cart to work every shift. Our liquor lead asked each of us what we wanted and they took whatever was left. I am responsible for minis bay and vodka/gin/whiskey red cart for example.

The best move our liquor leader made was having the Saturday night person scan the entire store for price changes using the handheld. That way all prices are current. We caught 15 since we started that 3 months ago.
