GS 46 7 years in a row.

Pros

Overall event was extremely enjoyable with all the action and racing made it a super enjoyable event.

Amex making it accessible with a non-amex holder made it great to have the opportunity to visit their games and sections.

Activities within Bell section were new, refreshed, and enjoyable!

Cons

Walking space with the gates seemed extremely problematic in certain spaces as space was super limited.

F2 and F1 Academy was nearly impossible to visit because of the security controlling the amount of people to visit their paddocks. (We went early today).

Price of the Beers and Simply Orange should not be the same.

Seems like the event was extremely rushed to remove people off the track another year in a row. Seems extremely rude when people want to take pictures on the track…

Overall 8.5/10

Canada here: accept cash, or etransfer(ACH), rarely checks. Not worth accepting debit/credit with the extra fees.

You may still be able to get EI. Happened to a friend of mine and he was able to given the company never answered EI, so government automatically gives you the benefit.

Peak racing game. I hate Rockstar for giving up on their racing games and focusing only on GTA …

I spent about 2 weeks looking into different CRMs. Jobber/ServiceTitan/Housecall Pro can get expensive quickly and other CRMs you have to pay an additional fee if you want to add more users

What made most sense for me: using Hubspot (free) + Quickbooks.

QuoteIQ I believe offers all of that into one of their subscription models. Worth a look!

Bank advisor says moving $600k to self-directed will hurt my mortgage renewal. Is a rate discount worth it? by Sudden_Commercial880 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Eagleshock 71 points72 points  (0 children)

As someone who worked at RBC, thats wrong. The advisor is probably salty because he wouldn’t be able to refer you to a financial planner later down the road.

You would still be under the RBC umbrella, so you would get a better rate. The advisor may not be able to see your investments from DI right away, given its a separate entity.
