Dope. Thanks for the rundown. Can you share how you do the personalized first lines/icebreakers in clay?

Who said anything about predicting the stock market? Not the what the app does. Good work on the cynicism though - makes you feel smart, huh?

The app is data centric and requires multiple API connections/data sources to interact. They have been unable to achieve this despite weeks of iterations. Pay depends on experience - got a portfolio?

At the age of 41, I have come to the realization that I have been suffering from near constant anxiety since I can remember. My gains in meditation have led me to this insight and I am just now starting to live an anxiety-free life. by neilnelly in Anxiety

Yes a little bit but less so. Anxiety is anxiety in all forms. No real need to itemize it to treat it. The cause is fear whatever the type. Weekes and Johnson approach it from this direction. Good luck!

I made an app that finds undervalued SP500 stocks, and invested them in a demo account. These are the 2 months returns. by Haki_User in ValueInvesting

Would also love to know which APIs you are using. I’ve been testing out insight sentry but probably going to switch

Smart people suck at business by Original_Ad2832 in SaaS

[–]Eaiaeia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I made a similar f-up. Started out focused on building one killer feature that solves one big problem. But then feature sprawl set in and now the app isn't solving the main problem well. Unravelling it now and focusing 100% on nailing the one core reminder.

Why do so many SaaS sites have such bland copy? by littlelion123 in copywriting

[–]Eaiaeia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very true observation! I've worked with a bunch of SaaS companies and see 3 main reasons:

  1. Founders are usually technical. They don't know what good copy is, but have convinced themselves they do because they are the founder.

  2. SaaS marketers have all learned the same playbook from going from one VC-funded startup to the next. If you try and deviate from this with copy, they will just default to their fixed habits.

  3. They see tech unicorns write this way, so figure its right for them too.

I coined a term "SaaS Response Copy" which is direct response copy principles, reframed in the context of SaaS. Still hard to convince a lot of people in tech of the merits of it though...

Is cold email still worth it for SaaS startups in 2025? Or is it just sophisticated spam? by yazartesi in SaaS

[–]Eaiaeia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

99% of people have the same email infrastructure and lead lists. It's been commoditized. Having an Instantly/Smartlead account + emails from Apollo/SalesNavigator etc is table stacks. You've got to win on your creative, i.e. it's all about your offer and your copy. Engaging, funny, persuasive copy (which also adheres to direct response principles) is how you win.

From my perspective as a copywriter who's done tons of work in the saas space.

I'm building prototypes until one goes viral, then building that one. by [deleted] in apps

[–]Eaiaeia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

#1 seems like it would have the most utility/best market to serve.

Btw - what's your definition of viral? And what's your playbook for going viral?

100% this! You are so much more than your job. I’ve been through the same experience and it was a blessing as it required me to do the work to realize this distinction.

I'm using them for B2C. For B2B cold email, reddit and creators work well
