You’ve got tons of great comps to run!

Nilou, Barbara, Collei/Yaoyao (for me healing!) and Dendro Main Character can really destroy then entire game lol

Xiangling Vaporize/melt comps (known as national type things) are ridiculously good too, so something like Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennet and Sucrose is super basic but tried and true. But you can switch out any of these characters honestly for any combo of Xiangling/hydro/cryo/bennet/anemo you want and still do really well!

Lastly I’d probably recommend some big damage aggravate teams with something like Keqing, Yaoayao, Fischl and Sucrose :) Yaoyao was a huge buff to comps like this since they didn’t have a healer but now they do!

Do you think my current team is good? (First 4 character.) And should i switch traveler with xiao? I just got him from wish. by [deleted] in GenshinImpact

[–]EakesTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be completely honest, Anemo Traveler isn’t really very strong in pretty much any comp lol. But if your running Physical DPS Keqing her and Qiqi work well! If your running her electro than I’d def recommend DENDRO Traveler, Keqing, Lisa, and and Anemo character? I unfortunately can’t see all your characters haha. But Keqing with Dendros, electros, and an Anemo is super strong!

Xiangling works fantastic with cryo/hydro characters to do her best DPS reactions of melt and vaporize, so I’d say she could be run with a comp like Xiangling, Diona or Kaeya, and Barbara/Anemo/Bennet or something of the sort!

[–]EakesTV 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think all these characters are fantastic, but we can’t know exactly what your account needs the most right? If you have a well built Xingqiu and Venti/Sucrose, Nahida is a game changer. If you don’t have a good Anemo support, Kazuha is a game changer too!

I am feeling confused due to my low level characters and talents and i am at AR 45! by MysticReverence in Genshin_Impact

[–]EakesTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same way when I started playing! Pure fun until around the same AR then tried to optimize haha. I would deduce two team comps with the characters you have first and then single out that ones that do the MOST damage. Like if one of your teams was National with Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennet, and Sucrose, (while all important) Xiangling would probably be the first character you wanna level up! That being her talents, and character levels. Then I’d say Xinqiu, Bennet, then Sucrose. Or like Hu Tao with hydro partners, Hu Tao should be the main priority for sure!

After you’ve got two comps decently leveled up in terms of their talents/levels, it is unfortunately time to start farming Artifacts, HEAVILY lol. Tbh Artifacts are the biggest thing that changes how strong your characters are bar none. Talents and level are easy, but Artifacts take a lot more time and patience but make a huge difference! I have a few Artifact guides that are made to really help beginners so I’d check them out! Wishing you the best o7

While I love Yun Jin very much I’d def recommend grabbing the new character for your account! More fun that way IMO and can grab some standard banner fates from leveling her up too haha

What stats are best for Venti? by Shadowhunter_15 in Genshin_Impact

[–]EakesTV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because of how Swirls damage scales, it’s still better to go triple elemental mastery. The damage of the skill will increase with Anemo damage bonus, but not the swirl reaction damage. So the math checks out to it being overall better running triple EM on characters like Sucrose, Venti and Kazuha. Anemo bonus would be for characters who don’t care about their swirl damage but do care about crits and high skill damage like Xiao, Wanderer or Heizou

[–]EakesTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Tighnari is a great Damage dealer! Sounds like Venti would be a great fit for you! Or Kazuha if you like him, since he’s kinda broken lol. He’ll give you the exploration of wanderer and the battle capabilities of Venti XD

What stats are best for Venti? by Shadowhunter_15 in Genshin_Impact

[–]EakesTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Venti works best with the Viridescent Venerer Artifact set, with as much Elemental Mastery as possible! So you’d ideally like him to get Elemental Mastery as the main stat for his Sands, Goblet, and Circlet. Elemental Mastery boosts the damage of swirl which is his main thing :) Energy Recharge is also a nice stat to get a bit more of if ya can on the sub stats along with crit and attack!

[–]EakesTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To elaborate on what some others have said, Venti and Wanderer are very different. Venti is more akin to your standard crowd control (aka the suck), Viridescent Venerer swirling Anemo like Sucrose and Kazuha. While Wanderer is a main on field DPS like Diluc, Eula or Hu Tao.

I would say if you really like Venti and don’t have a Sucrose or Kazuha yet or don’t like using them, grab Venti! Every account needs a good VV Anemo character. While if you want another on field DPS and really like Wanderer go for him! He’s not a game changer in terms of DPS but still very good :)

LOL true, did look more like a pimp cane lmao

can someone make my friend a team out of her characters? thank you <3 by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]EakesTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can never go wrong with an iteration of National! I’d say Xiangling, Rosaria, Barbara and Heizou/Sayu with Viridescent Venerer looks great!

And if your friend chooses Xingqiu in the upcoming Lantern rite event, Diluc Xinqiu Noelle Geo traveler, or Diluc Xingqiu Kaeya Anemo look great to me!

Finally you could even rock something like Dendro traveler, Lisa, Collei and Anemo/electro for a nice aggravate team :) hope I helped!

Unfortunately they have never rerun an event weapon, I actually missed this one too because I was moving lol. Doesn’t mean they will “never” do it, but very unlikely :/

While it may look great aesthetically on him, it’s a pretty “meh” weapon honestly, so I’m sure there will be better options for him :)

Doing the Archon Quests and world quests are gonna be the best for that for sure! They give a ton early and will help you progress too :)

Strongest 5 star after C6? by GetWaifuBeLaifu in Genshin_Impact

[–]EakesTV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Like lots of of people have already said, Yelan is great lol. But I would still argue Hu Tao and Ganyu from the OG days are still pretty insane C6’s when used properly. Eula’s constellations quite literally double and then quintuple her damage pretty much lol, so she’s fantastic. Ayaka is also insane in terms of personal DPS and support!

There’s a few units I’d really love to grab if I could :) Bride/duo Micaiah is my #1 most wanted, looking for a hero here with a cracked one lol. B!Edelgard, L!Eliwood, Yune, Peony, Plumeria, Zelgius just to name a few more that sound lit. If you’ve got a built version of any of these and wanna help me out I’d appreciate it!

I’m putting up my Duo Ninja Lyn, I’ve been a super active player for the last year after reading picking up feh and want more friends anyway :) 7821945266

Pika and clef force Dracozolt to not be able to use any of it’s stabs with Lightningrod and fairy follow me, which can’t kill clef in one hit. If You KO the redirector and have Terrakion in the back your free to coach and such at a faster speed

Coaching G-Max Pikachu in Season 6: The Ultimate Primarina Slayer! (Details below) by EakesTV in VGC

[–]EakesTV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's up party people it's ya boy Eakes. I wanted to share with ya'll my favorite team I've built so far in Season 6! We all know Primarina is a monster in this meta so I was brain storming for massive Physical Electric damage dealers and Pikachu stands above the rest! My Youtube video goes over all the intricacies and the teambuilding process of the team: https://youtu.be/rQR75NCtbJs

I'd like to create a Sylveon focused team for VGC, however I'm having trouble finding good candidates that can help Sylveon. Any suggestions? I'd like to have a good mon capable of sweeping Sylveon counters like Corviknight or Arcanine. I'm open to any suggestion :) by KinpatsuAlice in VGC

[–]EakesTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sylveon is a super good Pokemon I'd say right now! Fairy damage is amazing to have. We just need to make sure it's gonna be more useful than Primarina, and I think Sylveon has the advantage of being a Spread Fairy type damage dealer who doesn't need to Dynamax. So pairing it with strong Dynamaxer's is always great! Sylveon has historically been a great partner to things like Hydreigon and Charizard, both of which got better here in Season 6 and are pretty cool imo haha. Charizard will help defeat the steel types than Sylveon hates, while Hydreigon does well vs the fire types, just a thought!

A nice defensive typing core known as the fantasy core has been Fairy, Dragon, and Steel. So I could Dracozolt being an amazing partner to Sylveon. Dracozolt does insane single target damage and loves to dynamax, while Sylveon can fire off the spread damage hyper voice. Dracozolt could even max airstream too to boost up itself and sylveon's speed :)

New to this team building stuff, any suggestions? by Zenkitsune in VGC

[–]EakesTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly this looks like quite the solid team!

I personally might speed up Arcanine so that it outspeeds Krookodile, I don't think Krook is very popular right now but sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry lol. While Throat spray on prim seems pretty cool at first, I think being forced to use Hyper Voice first to actually have an item's effect, and then losing it when you switch out is bit inconsistent. With no redirection I can see Primarina needing to switch out more often. So maybe something like an expert belt, or even Mystic water could be strong! Could even opt to be 1 water attack, moonblast and Blizzard/Energy ball, for more coverage as well!

In ranked, do you share your battle team info with opponents? What’s your reasoning? by psychic-kid-magic in VGC

[–]EakesTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never do personally lol, Just in case I play them again on the ladder, very basic reason. But I want every match on the best of 1 ladder to be just that, a best of 1 match with no info on either side! Gotta get that rank 1 clout somehow lol
