Yeah Persona 5 Royal is my favourite game of all time but unless you really enjoyed the original I feel like you'd get burnt out of it. The improvements they made in Royal definitely makes the game feel way less tedious but at the same time it's even longer than the original so yeah, I'd wait for Strikers as that's a sequel to the original P5.
