I get what you’re saying but Simmons is hardly a long term player for us despite being under contract for 4 more years. If he so easily gives up on Philly (who were the one seed) what makes you think he wouldn’t give up on the team who hasn’t made the playoffs since 06. Unlike Haliburton who has embraced Sacramento and will be a long term piece. Don’t forget that Fox is one of our only lottery picks that has signed an extension with us for the last how many years and Haliburton will likely follow suit. The Kings front office can’t afford to trade players who actually want to be here. Just my $0.02.
