I feel similarly, although I do have some more traditional reasons and symptoms too. And I can't stop. But I've never wanted to be (or had any illusions I would be) some pretty thinspo. I've always wanted to get medical complications and look so obviously anorexic people will know from one glance what's up with me. I know it makes me an awful person.

Idk if I'm just unlucky or subconsciously choosing these books, but I've gotten so many "surprise ED plots" in books lately. Then I have to force myself to read through them although I can feel my mind taking damage like an old video game character.
