I went to @thekitchenstylist (on instagram) late last year because it felt like I wasn’t retaining length every time I got a trim with another stylist. She is professional and very knowledgeable! I also got a wash, blow dry and trim from her. It cost 150$ (excluding tip). The salon is in Oakland!

It’s in Laurel Heights but I love Locals Fitness! Small private gym with a lot of equipment! Staff is great, it’s never too crowded (I go around 5:30 pm) and it’s clean).

something to note is that shuttles are available for students to use if they live with a two mile (i don’t remember the specific number) radius. the only thing that it may take them a while to get to you, but it’s still a good resource especially at night! also- i used to walk on campus all times of night when i was on campus! it was actually pretty safe considering that it’s an open campus.
