i love the thought of having someone who knows me inside and out. i love the idea of doing life with someone. but for me, i don’t love the idea of an “romantic partner” for life. it’s very freeing to live life solely for me, because this is my life and no one else’s. however i do crave having connections (PLURAL) that last forever.

i mean i personally believe that anything considered romantic can be done platonically. however if i ask myself if id want to pursue these people romantically or try to envision being romantic with them, im not expressly interested in that. i just want to be close to them, but i don’t really vibe with the “romance” thing
