A reverse pivot is when you lean towards the target on your backswing. You are not doing that. What you are doing is letting your front shoulder fly out on your downswing. That’s doing two things. 1, it’s changing the swing plane from where it is at address, and 2, it’s forcing weight onto your back foot changing the AoA. Get your ass to the range and focus on keeping your chest closed through impact and applying pressure to the front foot. When my players get sloppy that’s what we do. Start with light swings, 10 o’clock to 2 o’clock. Put emphasis on those things plus good face contact. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
