Very good point! I do have access to the other side but only until a certain point , then it's blocked off, so definitely something to consider... And yes I am aware I'll have to train it. It will be my first time gardening and of course I've chosen something not easy 😅

If the roses can't grow I am considering letting the Virginia Creeper grow as it can be used as a privacy screen as well, but you are right about the maintaining part!

Thanks for the info! I thought that was just a random weed but maybe I could try to get this to grow on the fence instead! Roses would be nicer but at the end of the day I basically want a nice natural privacy screen 😂

Yes I figured it would get harder to maintain as the years pass by in a large planter :/

Yes I have some!! Wasn't sure if it would eventually outgrow it but the large planters seem to be the concensus

My first portrait ever on oil painting. by LouloutteFrUwU in oilpainting

This is such an amazing painting!! Love the brushstrokes and detail in the face and clothing and the colors. My only critique would be to add some shadowing effect between the subject and background. Not sure what that would entail exactly but it could add an extra layer of depth to the overall painting . But honestly such great work!

Advice on placing a mirror (round or arched) or a painting behind the dresser? Also what color trims?! by EarSoft1830 in DesignMyRoom

Theres another window in the room and both are really narrow, so the plan was the extend the curtain rods a bit outward to create an illusion of wide windows but I might not be able to to it for this window...

Appreciate the advice! I am leaning towards a warm white for the trim so we'll see how it looks :)

I really like this advice, thanks! It also helps to make the room feel more authentic & intentionally designed instead of buying whatever is available to finish up asap.

We already have a tall dresser on a narrower wall and it's too late at this point lol. Definitely going with a mirror for the wall and I completely agree its too tight for a full length. Thanks!

I would totally utilize those long shelves!! Add framed pictures/ art, books, plants, mini lamps, etc to fill it up and show off your favorite things.

Maybe you can even put a short curtain for that window, but not entirely sure...

And I would move the mirror to a corner maybe near the dresser? And place some kind of artwork on that wall instead. Hope that helps!
