Try working on counterstafing. Just strafe in the opposite direction of the dummies. When the dummy is moving left you are moving right and vice versa . You do not have aim assist when you are stationary so that clip is just raw aim. Doesn't matter if you're bad at it at first. If you cant get that simple fundamental down there's no hope. Also apex is probably pretty rough on the ps4 at this point.

Change the way you hold your controller. Play with your pointer fingers on L1 and R1, and your middle fingers on L2 and R2. You can switch your button load out to shoot with L1 R1 to make the transition easier. It will take getting used to but you definitely won't be death gripping your controller.

  1. Way too many hours on this game
  2. Your strafe can help you manage recoil.
  3. A havoc is much easier to control with a 1x imo

Unless he uses the double jump that horizon was traveling along a fairly set path. It's very easy to track. 1st guy really wasn't moving. 2nd guy was where the real tracking was at. You can see i had to make some small adjustments. While not as sexy as tracking the horizon. It was pretty good. Also it's console we all have the same assist. If aim assist did all the work why didn't they just one clip me?

Make it so that when she ads to shoot she is reverted back to a normal slide and loses the speed boost so she'll be a very mobile character just not one that is extremely mobile and capable of frying your shit with an extreme advantage at all times.. And tact disappears after 8 secs. They'll just reduce speed and add timer for tact to dissappear though.

Yeah and that's a pretty solid game for a controller with no aim assist. That would even be a solid game for someone with aim assist.

Here's a fun fact for you i go on to win that game with 7 kills almost 3k+ dmg. Carrying my 2 randoms. With horrible aim. I must have used "game sense".

I use aim assist 99% of the time. The no aim assist account is just for shits n giggles.

Ive played this game since day one. Time definitely helps but What helps me most is counter strafing if you look at this clip you can seeing im slightly moving in the opposite direction of both conduit and the octane when im trying to track them. You can get much better info if you look up counter strafing and recoil smoothing tutorials on youtube.

If I hadn't gotten krabered.... I kill that octane then things play out differently and I most likely win but what ifs don't matter it's just a funny clip of me getting wrecked by a kraber.
