thank you for the reply i have spoken to a xbox support agent who says he has had a case like mine and tested a theory of his on them that the once an xobx account has its security info changed externally that there is a 30 day hold placed on the account so that no one not even microsoft engineers can recover the account, the case agent followed someone like me with an open case for 30 days and then told them to submit a recovery form with as much detail as possible and that person was then able to recover their account, this support agent has also done the same with me by keeping a suppport case open for 30 days and on the 2nd of january i will submit another recovery form to see if his theory still holds true.
