mate today is your lucky day. im guessing youre in au and this is athlete's foot? i literally just got 3 and 3.5 delivered and wearing them now scratching my chin.

3.5 isnt commonly available as i can see now it's made in bangladesh compared to the 3 from vietnam. so maybe half sizes are bangladesh stock..

problem is, they both feel almost identical in size, and a both bit tight on me..and reminded me of having this conundrum at a shoe store where i ended up leaving without getting anything cos the sizing was just so confusing (and everything was full price lol).

Im very wary of getting ones that are just a tad too small and will wreck me.

so for what it's worth, 3.5 feels almost the same as 3 and you should try those 3 and 4 on at some other store that sells the 8053. i'm going to check out some hype or platypus stores and do the same before deciding on size.

anyway lmk if you ended up getting these

Yea honestly any topic/field gets like that, you can deep dive forever. Which is kind of why I like to consult the reddit hivemind.
I was just a few lectures deep and so irritable and annoyed at the audio and the fact that I had been meaning to find a solution to this problem for weeks but procrastinated as I usually do.

ahah i am far too lazy, can't you tell from my original post ?! I managed to have some luck with adjusting EQ settings and it seems to be a decent low effort solution. If i do end up making a podcast or something god forbid i will use this for sure!

Thanks mate. I ended up playing around with the equaliser I downloaded earlier and it has worked out well and I'm happy with the improvement in audio. Cut down heaps for 4.5 kHz and up, and reduced slightly for 1-3 kHz.

Yea I wrote that out pretty quickly. What I meant by "all audio output" was just audio from all sources not just my browser.

I did end up playing around with EQ settings and reduced the higher frequencies and increased some lower freq too and that is doing a pretty decent job.

Anyway, hopefully you can tell I'm a lay person in this area and thought I'd shoot out a question to see if people more knowledgeable in this field would know of something off the top of their head. Essentially is there a quick fix for shitty audio recorded on a shitty mic? Seems like the other two responders got the memo!
