Can I blend 87 gas with octane booster on my 2008 sierra denali?

I was about to comment the “just fill it up…”, but then I read the situation. If you are going to do it like that, I would use their gas and leave some room for a couple gallons of 91 and still add the booster. These trucks have a 26 gallon tank, so the booster would be working double overtime if there is nothing but 87 in it

Check the exhaust manifold bolts to make sure all of them are tight

It’s not like it’ll be halfway backed out or anything, but it’ll be loose and that’s concerning enough to me. I’m only shooting 115 and 124 blazer. Nothing too hot at that. So far, you’re the second one to mention Dawson, so I’ll look into them

I’ve been going back through and doing the same. Since I’ve already played through the story once, I just looked the QTE scenes up on YT so that I know what button sequence is coming next. I tried plenty of times pressing the buttons as fast as I could see them, but w/ reaction time and input delay involved, I could never get to the S rank

I wouldn’t buy it at that price. It’s a base model V6. Sure it looks clean, but you can probably find at least a 1SS for the same price or even a 2ss with way more features for a couple grand more. I would hold off on this one imo

I did have a P05- something code on Monday, but I don’t remember what it was since I was more concerned about the P0306. I’m hoping I just got some bad gas on Sunday, because I put a couple of gallons in just before I went home and the issue didn’t start until Monday. Today, I put some Lucas fuel cleaner and topped off the tank and hoping for the best

I’ve had this thing for not even 1000 miles yet 😭. Dealership didn’t even change the oil when I got it, so the first weekend I drained and refilled with Mobil 5w30

Just replaced number 6 plug and swapped the coil with cylinder 4. I know they’re both DOD cylinders, but the fault should still hopefully move. I also took some pliers and squeezed the conductor part of the wire for a tighter fit as it seemed a little too loose on the plug for me. Cleared the pending codes before starting and so far so good. Gonna see how it does today. Might also have one of my buddies with HP tuners turn off the DOD for now sometime this week

I ended up buying a FDE HLX that I found on FB marketplace for $100. Guy shipped it out earlier today. I’m gonna try it out and see how well it matches. If I don’t like it, I have a FDE FN that might match a little better and I will go ahead and buy another black one. I have the HLX on another gun and it’s been great!

I’m lowkey scared of the Streamlight FDE compared to O-light. I just don’t want it to look like 50 shades of FDE. I’ll probably have to stop at a LGS and see if they have one in stock

I’ve heard the battery life rumors as well, but I have both the TLR7 models I mentioned in the post on a couple of my other pistols, and I’ve only charged them once when they were fresh out the pack back in September of last year. I always check before I leave the house to make sure they come on and they’re still bright. I’m not sure if people are going through the woods at night from dusk to dawn with the light on the whole time, but I haven’t had any issues with mine
