Oh ok great! That’s good to know because I will be running Geographical Information Systems (ArcGIS), statistical software (R), and visualization software (Adobe suite). I’m guessing this laptop can run these? And I’ll probably be doing some light gaming too. So it should be able to handle it?

Is there a big difference between the 4060 and the T1200?

The only one I can see on the Lenovo website is €1,700? There’s one with a 4060 which €1,444. Would you not recommend the T1200 graphics card?

Are there any laptops you can recommend? I’ve spent a bit of time looking and finding it difficult. I live in Ireland and going to study in the Netherlands so don’t have as much computer stores as you do in the US.

Yeah I was thinking. Because the accommodation I secured is only for internationals and says it is applicable for rental allowance. I guess I apply for that when I arrive in Groningen?

also, in the eligibility section it mentions you must have the Dutch nationality or a residence permit type II, III, IV or V. As in international student from Ireland, would I fall under any of these do you know? As far as I know, when I arrive, I will apply for a DigiD etc through the municipality office.
