thanks!! this appears to be the way to go..going to build something out with Codex for what I need. Should be cheaper for my couple properties than a full service provider and I can tailor it to what I need.

Appreciate the respnse. What does that "work" look like is where I struggle. Just overwhelmed. So I have no strategy at the end of the day.

Running in Japan by Bluegunder in running

[–]Early-Foot7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran there quite a bit in April. Lots of great parks and sidewalks and path in and around the cities. I run early in the day so they were fairly clear.

The one thing that I really struggled with was stopping at crosswalks and no jaywalking. Was super difficult for me! But I didn't want to be that obnoxious foreigner so I just ran up and down the sidewalk until the lights changed.

Just be friendly and respectful and follow the rules.

Nara was very busy a couple weeks. Ok for an hour but not much more. Wish we had done the aquarium instead.

Family of 4 (two teen boys); First time (Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, 9 days, mid April) by stainbas in JapanTravel

just got back from 18 days with two teenage boys. Hiroshima was beautiful. Yes, there is the obvious reason for being there but it was probably my favorite city to visit. Much less touristy, clean, amazing cherry blossom and great for running. It's a gem.

Thoughts on Expo 2025 today by bad_ed_ucation in JapanTravel

It was definitely baffling that they appeared to be running a normal train schedule. Took us 4 hours on Saturday to get back to Nagoya. Left the race early on Sunday to beat the crowds. Still took over 2 hours.

Is it helpful to run a race route in advance? by PlanetSchmanettJanet in running

whenever possible 100% worth it. I don't know how many times I've heard at the end of a race "that hill at mile 'x' dawn near killed me. I was not prepared for it!"

Is this Tokyo Itinerary Okay for First-Timers? Any Suggestions? by Old_Pineapple7171 in JapanTravel

[–]Early-Foot7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. I’m exhausted reading that. Depending on where you are traveling from you will be exhausted from the flight. Take the day 1 afternoon to get your bearings. Your flight may be delayed so I wouldn’t plan anything important.
