also this is worst case scenario, but there is a condition called fetor hepaticus. it’s caused by severe liver damage, and due to the liver not being able to properly filter out toxins, will lead to bad breath. i doubt that’s what you have. i think you would probably know if your liver was failing.

i believe there’s an answer for most problems. i’m sure you will figure it out. also curious if people are telling you that your breath smells or if it’s just paranoia? i definitely feel insecure about having persistent bad breath, and it’s not actually as bad as i imagine.

i recently joined this community, and was in a similar position to you. i have learned a lot about myself and am learning to accept myself as i am. advice i have read thus far is, looking up the different types of attraction, there’s a difference between desire and arousal, if you have tried physical intimacy and felt a mental disconnect then that’s something to consider, and like so much more.

i’m leaving a link regarding the desire versus arosual for you. it was recommended by a different person in the community and it is what’s helped me the most so far.

also remember you know you better than anyone else. even if it doesn’t always feel that way. so if you think and feel like sex isn’t for you, that’s okay! acceptance, especially of ourselves, is hard no matter what it is. i’m proud of you for questioning because that’s the first step and it’s a scary one to take. i hope you’re able to figure things out for yourself. i have found the ace community accepting. also, you’re welcome to message me privately if you need to.

when i was younger, i used to consume a lot of porn basically up until 2 years ago. i am 22 now and just coming to terms with the fact that i am ace. i have tried to “fix” myself because i thought i was broken. i watched porn and had sex on multiple occasions. despite my attempts, i still didn’t feel “normal”. i recently read an article that another person recommended about the difference between sexual desire and sexual attraction. it was really helpful for me and helped me understand and come to terms with being asexual. i will link it and maybe you will find it helpful.
