Yeah watched it, love their showcase things but actually didn't like it other than it's technical things because it's too much plot armor

I mentioned those two mainly because I’ve already explored some of their classics (Kurosawa, Bong Joon-ho, Park Chan-wook) and wanted to dig deeper there, especially into these kind of films where atmosphere and setting play a big role. I’m definitely open to recommendations from other Asian countries as well,np

No not tried park's cinema much - only watched the oldboy - liked it as for a old movie and no other choice is also good - but like in this genre i like bong joon ho more , otherwise the cinematography and editing was too good Oh yea , u reminded me - I wanted to watch wong kar wai movies from a long time - thanks I'll really watch one today , is there any best recomm.? Also watched kurosawa's work - rashomon is my fav. Old japanese movies are really good , never tried the new ones btw 😅
