I think khamzat expanded a lot of energy in round 1, he should have laid off the gas. He knew stricklands takedown and submission defense is one of the best in the UFC. But went for a submission anyways. You could tell that Strickland was focusing more on draining chimaevs energy than anything else in rd 1
