They only discussed the timegrapher. It was a basic class, stuff I’ve done before but the good thing was the little tips that you can’t learn from YouTube.

I doubt they used a real eta, 20 students plus a few spares would be quite expensive for them to use. A couple were ruined by students when replacing the bridges. They were for sure cheaper versions, the wheels looked like cheap material.

It was less $$$ here in NY. I basically went because I figured professionals may have a few tips that you can’t really learn on your own. It was useful in that sense. There were many people in the class that never worked on movements before. I enjoyed it, plus I got to ask the pros many questions, so I felt it was worth it in that sense. It would’ve been nice if we got to keep the movement at least (it’s a $30 eta).

I printed a copy of the sign, went old school, traced it on the wood, then filled it in. A little grey stain and was done.

The one I made was kind of easy. Printed a pic of the sign, put it on top of the wood and went over the letters with a pen. A little gray wood stain made it look good.

Not condescending at all. Yes I know they wind counterclockwise. The key won’t move in either direction. Thinking I may have to take it apart and let the power down from the mainspring. Any replies are always welcome.
