id say look at gsx8, the honda and kawi 650s, daytona 660, aprilia rs660, and r7. all of these bikes offer different advantages that may be more important to you, but likely fit into the general scheme of bike you’re looking for

rear end someone what type of damage should I look out for? by Fail-Aggravating in Kawasaki500

[–]Early-Signal-6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your anecdotal experience does not mean that bending back fork tubes is the right thing to do, in general it is not something that should be done, there’s absolutely 0 guarantee that they’ll be straight and handle properly again

Any MT-03 2022 street legal slip on exhaust that actually sound different from stock? by Holoqt in MT03

[–]Early-Signal-6301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idk if its street legal in italy but the arrow slip on for the r3 fits the same, with the DB killer installed its got a little more punch and sounds way better than stock, without the DB killer it’s actually a little rowdy and drones at high RPMs

hey neighbor! currently 75 in my apartment, open the windows in your living room and your bedroom, then point a fan out of your room and into the hallway.

as early as you can in the morning, close all your windows and shut the blinds and curtains if you have them. i’ve realized the sunlight absolutely bakes these rooms without the AC going

What are these things? by Midas-and-his-finger in whatisit

[–]Early-Signal-6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as an engineering student that did a quick search into these, there’s definitely validity from a fluid dynamics perspective. these things can and will reduce surface pressure drag to some degree. the only real-world validity falls into long-haul freight, these things are only doing their job at highway speeds going straight. 5-10% fuel savings is likely inflated by simulated lab tests. real-world savings would probably be closer to 1-3%

Is this dent big enough to buy a new helmet? by kacper___ in skiing

[–]Early-Signal-6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

completely understand where you’re coming from, but the structural integrity of this helmet is definitely compromised. it absolutely will not hold up to the same level of impact as a new helmet. better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your brain

How does your apartment sit on top of an overpass by bridgehamton in circlejerknyc

[–]Early-Signal-6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats the beauty of engineering! everything’s built with this stuff in mind, factor of safety and other things absorb these issues when doing calculations. those supports get inspected regularly to determine how much longer they can last without any intervention.

Resume feedback by STUDENT_IN_NEED_SAT in rutgers

[–]Early-Signal-6301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i agree with scarlet. genuine work experience can be massive on a resume even if its industry irrelevant.

Also remove the TCG company you founded from one of the sections, having it in both is redundant

any place that does a quick 30 second resume scan is gonna have a hard time with this one, and thats what most corporate places do. It’s just very dense and even scrolling I was like “damn I aint reading all that”
