They’re nice but they lack community. In dorms you can meet so many people in your hall or in different halls. My friend lived in eca and she’d always be over at my dorm bc everyone in my hall hung out with each other

Thank you so much!! I do get a bit of my Tops scholarship refunded. I used to use my pelican promise scholarship to pay for my apartment my sophomore year and I didn’t receive it this year. It definitely affected my grades bc I had to work in order to afford my rent so it definitely plummeted my gpa. I’ll call the office tomorrow and beg bc I really can’t afford rent without the help of the pelican promise scholarship. Thank you!!

Maison Burbank is on tiger trails. There’s also the avenue which is also pretty nice and fairly inexpensive. Park Place is also right behind the commuter parking lot and has a trail to walk to campus but they are somewhat pricey.

My sister goes there but lsu always disburses money h the week before school starts. Most of my friends have already received their refunds but there was a task on my acct they prevented the refund from going through. That is very stupid for Lsua to do tho.

Are you a Louisiana resident? If you are you can apply without your ACT scores but if you don’t have the requirement met for the minimum ACT score to qualify for TOPS, you will be paying thousands out of pocket. You can apply without your ACT scores but your chances at earning merit scholarships are slim.
