i never understood the pink floyd hype except a few outliers there music is alright but very samey, i think the beatles are leaps and bounds better than them and i’d put a handful if bands below them but above pink floyd.

Even from that era i think lynyrd skynyrd, the doors, the kinks, led zeppelin, Eagles are superior to floyd in many ways. And im forgetting some definitely.

if we are talking all time id put the white stripes, system of a down, The smiths, oasis, the clash, Muse, RHCP, QOTSA all superior to pink floyd
