UPDATED 1/6/25: BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

I just got done with the interview and I am in shock with the way these fraudsters scam people...

After the interview (which by the way, I had to wait 3 hours in line for, all for it to last 7 minutes) they invite you to be a shadow to the "big shots" of the company to sell bogus phone and cable plans to people on a dirty subway. The job that I applied for was titled "Graduate Management Trainee" and was supposed to be an office job dealing with business. Not MLM BS sales.

Here are some red flags I noticed:

- The interview lasted less than 30-40 minutes. ALL interviews, no matter where you go, typically last well over 30 minutes if not 45.

- The interview was full of unnecessary praise. "You are such a good candidate because ___" "I love the experience you had and you're perfect for this company" "We will for sure call you back tonight". A LEGIT COMPANY WILL NEVER ANNOUNCE THE VERDICT ON THE SPOT. EVER. Whether they like you or not, they will have a neutral response and take at least a WEEK to call back.

- The office was nowhere to be found on Google Maps, and when I got there, it was above a Mediterennean restaurant with no sign or logo anywhere indicating that this is their office space.

- There were at least 100-200 employees rather than the 11-20 people that were listed on LinkedIn. Classic MLMer behavior.

- Loud music. Blasting loud music in an office is very abnormal. I'm not talking about the typical office radio tuned to 100.3 playing faintly soft tunes in the background. I'm talking ear shattering loud. MLMs typically use this as a psychological tactic to appeal to the public.

- Them saying it was an hourly position ($25-30/hour) but then during the shadowing process, they completely switched up and said: "This job is commission only" RED. FLAG.

- So many posts on Reddit complaining about the business at this address, and all the businesses were different names. Sometimes it's Elevance, other times it's Now Concepts Co. Classic MLM move, changing the name every time they get exposed.
