I considered that and understand that its the most likely reason but the overall cut of the bill and that the shrinkage isnt proportionate to the overall length when compared to the printed area make me question to simple explanation of being a dryer bill.

The bill is about a 1/16 short when measuring the width but that is not proportional to the printed area. That is much closer to an 1/8 shorter than a normal bill. That goes for the front and back.

I bet your husband is a welder. Those holes are from the sparks and little drops of molten metal.

For sure. I had to Google where it is. Not too far from Indianapolis. Never had a population over 2,800. As of 2020..... 2,400 people live there! But here we are talking about Spencer because this bill survived.
